All except his fsther, William and Harry, were born in Bury St.Edmunds. His father died in 1907. His mother was later at 9 Bedford Street, Ipswich. |
He enlisted in Bury St.Edmunds.
The 15th Battalion were on garrison duties in Herrines when Edward contracted influenza and pneumonia. He died in No.51 Casualty Clearing Station in Tournai, Belgium.
