Born in 3rd qtr 1921 Bury St.Edmunds 4a:1700, son of Bertie and Beatrice V and TUCK (née WISEMAN) of 3 Linnet Road, Bury St.Edmunds.

In 1939 his parents (father a labourer at British Sugar); brothers Kenneth B [4-7-1924](carpenter's assistant), Ronald L [23-4-1928], Dennis W [10-10-1930] and William T [17-4-1932] were at 3 Linnet Road (2 closed records).


No documents seen that give cause of death. That close to the surrender of Singapore to the Japanese on 15th February 1942 it is possible he died of wounds
