Born in 2nd qtr 1920 Bury St.Edmunds 4a:2000, son of Robert Leonard and Ellen Eliza WALTON (née BARBER) of 40 Fornham Road, Bury St.Edmunds.His father was a locomotive driver.In the 1939 register his parents were at 90 Fornham Road, Bury St.Edmunds with his brother Donald [14-4-1923] ( 1 closed entry).


Presumably captured on 15th February 1942 at the surrender of Singapore to the Japanese. He died of beri beri/pellagra and was initially buried in Kanburi No.2 cemetery.
