Eric Herbert Hullyer was born in Carlton Green on 6th July 1919 (Linton Q3-1919 3B:632), baptised Carlton 24th August 1919, son of Herbert and Louisa HULLYER (née THORNDYKE).

His father was a horse keeper in 1919.
In the 1939 register his father [14-10-1998] a farm foreman; mother [10-1-1891]; brothers Frederick [18-9-1915] farm labourer, Ernest [15-9-17] farm labourer/tractor driver and Ronald L [24-7-19132] farm labourer, were at Lophams, Carlton.There is one closed record.

Eric died at Cambridge Hospital, Aldershot (Aldershot Q4-1940 2C:537). Unfortunately that is all that has been found on record about him. No idea if he ever served abroad or whether it was illness or wounds that caused his death.
