The war memorial in on the village green within the junction of Water Lane. Apparently of limestone which is deteriorating, a Celtic cross atop a hexagonal column on a hexagonal plinth. Unveiled in December 1921, that is the currently all that is known of the memorial.

The dedication on the east face of the plinth reads:-
TO THE
GLORY OF GOD
AND IN
GRATEFUL MEMORY
OF THE MEN OF THIS PARISH
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN THE
GREAT WAR
1914-1918

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
