Arthur Guinness was killed when a V2 rocket hit the officers mess in Deest ( a few miles NW of Nijmegen). One of the other two men killed was Gunner John Stiles (presumably his batman) who is
named on the Elveden WW2 memorial plaque in the Elveden Church.
