Albert James Jugg was born in 1926 (Ely Q1-1926 3B:686), the son of Harold James and Rosetta May JUGG (née GAGE) of Witchford.

He attended Soham Grammar School from 1936 to 1941.

In the 1939 register the family were at Main Street, Witchford. Father Harold [10-5-1884] was a builder's labourer, mother Rosetta M [25-6-1895]. The is one closed record.



It is not known whether he died from wounds or illness. KIRKEE WAR CEMETERY was created to receive Second World War graves from the western and central parts of India where their permanent maintenance could not be assured.
