John Cecil Fleetwood Walker was born on 17th January 1929 (Marylebone Q1-1929 1A:686), the son of John Percy Ernest and Bridget Fleetwood WALKER (née FULLER).

He was commissioned on 11th April 1948 and from the Royal Artillery (TA) to Royal Armoured Corps on 19th September 1950 Reported missing then killed in action during the Battle of Kowang-San 3rd-12th October 1951

He is also commemorated on the Korea War memorial outside Belfast City Hall...On their Roll of Honour he is - Lieutenant 390158 John Cecil Fleetwood WALKER, Royal Scots Greys attached to the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars died 6th October 1951 aged 22.




John Walker is buried in U.N. Memorial Cemetery, Pusan plot 23, row 1 grave 1553
