believed to be Joseph Thomas Reader was born in Staveley, Derbyshire(Chesterfield Q2-1894), son of George and Eleanor REEDER (née LENNARD from GRO records) The Cambridgeshire banns register gives the marriage as George READER to Juliana LEONARD of Castle Camps, in Horseheath in 1877. That in turn has been transcribed on fbmd and Find my past as Selina LEONARD. With the many changes of name there is room for error, but this appears to be the most likely family. 1901 census...Aged 6 he was at Dalesforth Terrace, Skegby, Mansfield with his father George Reeder [40] railway platelayer born Cambs; mother Julia [42] born Cambs; brothers David [21] railway platelayer, Mark[14] above ground mining labourer, both born Cambs; sister Ethel 10 born Staveley. There was another brother, George born Cambs 1878. 1911 census...Aged 16, a farm labourer,he was in Castle Camps with his uncle and aunt, Mark John BARRETT [52] blacksmith and Celia BARRETT ( his mother's sister) (n&eacaute;e LEONARD) [51] both born in Castle Camps.
