Victor Bernard Addison was born in Euston on 19th March 1894 (Thetford Q2-1894 4B:369), son of James Hayes and Rosabella ADDISON (née SHACKELL).
He entered Euston Free Voluntary School on 27th September 1897 and left on 27th April 1908. 1901 census...Aged 7, he was at The Warren, Thetford Road, Euston with his father James H.EUSTON [39] farm labourer born Euston; his mother Rosabella [38] born Thetford; sister Kate [15] born Thetford and a boarder, George T ADDISON [23] farm labourer born Euston. 1911 census...Aged 17, an engineering apprentice, he was boarding with the WILLIAMSON family at 44 Magdalen Street, Thetford. His parents were still in Euston, but one of Rosabella's 3 children had died. There is a probate record of a Victor Bernard ADDISON of 66 Warleigh Road, Brighton dying in Roehampton in 1927, husband of Elsie May Addison. A Victor B Addison married Elsie M LADELL in Brighton Q4-1921. Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton specialised in prosthetics for limbless servicemen. |

He enlisted on 17th April 1912 and was discharged on 14th February 1918, having served in France/Flanders from 1st March 1915. It appears he died in Roehampton, Surrey on 10th June 1927
It is not known why he is included on the Roll of Honour in the church, other than that he was taken sick whilst in the Army. His death was too long after the war
for him to be included on the CWGC records and Euston War Memorial.
