Wulf Fraser was born at Leuchars Lodge, Leuchars, Fife on June 17th 1888, son of (then Major) Lt-Col. John Logan and Ellen Mary Anne FRASER (née HUDDLESTON). His parents were married in Norton on 18th October 1880
1891 census...Aged 2, he was at Little Haugh Hall, Norton with his widowed grandmother Elizabeth HUDDLESTON [78] born Upwell, Norfolk; his aunts Elizabeth Mary [52], Katherine Emma [48] and Caroline Agnes [45] ( all born in Norton) and brother Peter E R Fraser [9] born in Scotland. His parents were at 37 Pier Road, St Helier, Jersey where his father was a Lieutenant in the Army His father died in Suffolk in 1893 1901 census...Aged 12,he was at Great Green, Thurston with his grandmother and the three aunts. Katherine Emma died on 21st August 1906. His mother was at 180 Munster Road, Fulham with his brother Yalden [15] born Scotland. 1911 census...Aged 22, of private means, he was a boarder at 70 Radipole Road, Fulham. His aunt Elizabeth Mary Huddleston was head of household in Thurston with her sisters Ann Francis and Caroline Agnes. His mother was staying at the Barkston Gardens Hotel in Earls Court. His mother seems to have moved to Thurston with her sisters by the time his will was proved. He was a great-great-grandson of the painter Sir Henry Raeburn. |

He enlisted in Westminster when resident in Fulham. His legatee was his mother He seems to have been killed during the Third Battle of Gaza during which the 60th (London) division were involved.
