Reginald George Taylor was born in Weston Colville on 15th November 1919 (Linton Q4-1919 3B:822), son of Maurice and Hannah TAYLOR (née PURKISS).

In the 1939 register his parents were at 6 Council Houses, Weston Colville, father [2-10-1876] a farm worker; mother [8-12-1879]; brother James J [31-12-1912] farm worker and brother Frederick C [26-10-1914] a farm stockman with one closed record.


A labourer, his address was 6 Council Houses, Weston Colville on his PoW card. He was captured by the Japanese on 15th February 1942 at the surrender of Singapore and put to work on the Burma railway

Reginald George Taylor is buried in Kanchanburi War Cemetery, grave 2:K:75
having been originally buried at Tamoran, grave 17 and re-interred on 7th February 1946
