BEYTON WAR MEMORIAL
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
The war memorials are in All Saints Church.
The Great War plaque is a white Sicilian marble scroll on a red marble tablet, a Latin cross above with a rose on each side. The scroll contains the rank, forename,
surname and unit of the 12 fallen.
The dedication on the scroll reads
IN MEMORY OF
the names
MEN OF BEYTON WHO DIED
IN DEFENCE OF LIBERTY AND THE HONOUR OF
THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR
1914 - 1919
The memorial was made by Hanchetts and unveiled on 22nd August 11920 by Major General O.E.Hay CB RA
Dedicated by Venerable G Hodges.
The Eastern window in the north aisle is Beyton’s memorial to those who died in World War 2. A two light window depicts Christ with a soldier kneeling before him. On the wall below is a tablet inscribed

AND IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF BEYTON WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE WAR 1939 - 1945
