Arthur Sidney Osborne was born in 1921 (4th qtr 1921 Bury St.Edmunds 4a:1614) son of George Victor and Alice Maud OSBORNE (née WARD)

The family were at Rope Walk Farm, Bradfield St George at the time of his death.


He was on demob leave, fell ill and was transferred from Bury St.Edmunds hospital to St Albans, where, after an operation, he died.
The battalion served in North Africa, then took part in Sicily and Italy.
