1891 census...Aged 3 months, he was at 43 Crown Street,Bury St.Edmunds with his father Charles TREACH [34] joiner, born Bury St.Edmunds; his mother Anna [34] born Watton; sister Florence [2] born Bury St.Edmunds; aunt Florence BRUNTON [17] born Watton 1901 census...Aged 10, he was at 47 Out Westgate,Bury St.Edmunds with his parents; sisters Florence, Ethel [8] and Phoebe [5]. 1911 census...Aged 20, a clothier's assistant, he was still at 47 Westgate with his parents; sisters Ethel Maude (milliner) and Phoebe Gladys (dress maker's apprentice.) He married Ethel May GOLDING [12-4-1893] in Bury St.Edmunds in 1913, later of Elm Church, Wisbech. Their son, Charles Golding REACH was born 20-7-1913. The battalion were in the Ronville Sector and on 22nd March "B" and "D" Coys moved into Dunedin caves in the morning. Ronville was again shelled. Casualties 1 OR killed , 1 OR wounded.
