Six in the Great War of 1914-1918 and One in 1939-1945



Inside St.Andrew's church, Great Saxham, on the north wall is a wall mounted tablet 58 cm high by 85 cm wide. Made by F.H.Goddard (mason) and unveiled on 25th April 1920. Of white marble on a black marble base, featuring a crucifix rising from a crown on a background of crossed leaves. The inscription is

PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR
