All except his mother born in Brockley. 1911 census...Aged 14, a butcher, he was at Cross green, Hartest with his parents and brothers Walter and Archie (both labourers) and visitor Hilda ARCHER. On the pension card his mother was at Cross Green, Hartest. |
He enlisted in Bury St.Edmunds. He died of his wounds at King George Hospital, Stamford Street, Lambeth.
