1871 census...Aged 4 he was at Park Lane, Newmarket with his mother Catherine ARNULL [34] born Cambridge. His fsather Thomas ARNULL [37] born Newmarket was a carpenter/jpoiner and away working at Studley Castle, Warwickshire

1881 census...Aged 14, he was at 2 Fern Villas, Park Lane, Newmarket, with his parents and sister Kate [9] born Newmarket

1891 census...He was not found in this census, perhaps in the Army. His pareents and sister were still at Fern Villa, Park Lane, Newmarket



He died at the battle at Grassy Hill (now Suffolk Hill)
His Queens South Africa medal carries the clasp Cape Colony
