To the eternal memory of the men of STOWLANGTOFT who died in the service of their country
Eight in the Great War of 1914-1919.





The Stowlangtoft War memorial is in the form of a Crucifix scene - a painted Calvary with figures of the Virgin Mary and St.John on either side. Below on a rectangular blue panel, the inscription and names painted in gold letters.
The Cricifix is 1.8 metres high, 1.4 metres wide, of painted wood. It was unveiled on 18th April 1920 by Field Marshall Sir Henry Wilson Bart.G.C.B., D.S.O. and dedicated by Canon Wilson Brown.
The names are shown in date of death order.
