All except his mother were born in Stowlangtoft. 1911 census...Aged 17, an under gardener, he was at The Gardens, Stowlangtoft Hall with his parents; sisters Violet R, Grace B [5], Doris M [4] and Nora P [2]; brothers Percy R, Maurice R and Horace B [6]. The pension card has his mother at The Gardens, Stowlangtoft Hall. |

He enlisted in Bury St. Edmunds. He died of influenza in France in a base hospital in or near Boulgne (recorded as Cecil WATTS).
