"TOSTOCK WAR MEMORIAL"

To the eternal memory of the men of TOSTOCK who died in the service of their country
13 in the Great War of 1914-1919 and one in 1939-1945



The Tostock War memorial is in the form of an oil painting on canvas, by Marion Saumarez, set in a niche on the right of the nave, depicting a soldier and a sailor kneeling before an altar. In the centre in one column, the names of the fallen headed by a dedication.. The memorial was dedicated by Rev. C.S.Knyvett OBE on 7th September 1924.

Under this is a small stone plaque commemorating AC2 Dennis W.MURTON of the R.A.F. who died in the 1939-1945 conflict.
