Albert Victor Arbon was born in 1923 (Bury St.Edmunds Q3-1923 4A:1588), son of Sidney and Mabel ARBON (née KEMP).

In 1939 the family were at 2 New Cottages in either Sapiston or Bardwell, (the record is not clear). Father, Sidney, [18-5-1891] a general labourer; mother Mabel [22-8-1900] and brother Eric Stanley [31-10-1919] and electrician's mate. There are 2 closed records.

Albert and another gunner were initially buried in Wangelau and moved in 1947 to Hamburg.
