Charles George Savage was born in 1924 ( 2nd qtr 1924 Bury St.Edmunds 4a:1533) son of James and Edith May SAVAGE (née INCE)

His father died in 1930. His widowed mother (with one other)in the 1939 register was at School House, Thurston. By the time of Charles' death she was at the School House, Bradfield St.Clare


H.M.S. Daedalus was a Fleet Air Arm training base, four miles west of Portsmouth, also known as RNAS Lee-on-Solent.
He died in Newmarket White Lodge Emergency Hospital from Pleurisy.
