Victor Foreman was born in 1897,(2nd qtr 1897 Mildenhall 4a:807) son of Charles Harold and Mary Ann FOREMAN (née FRANCIS). His father died in 1900

1901 census...Aged 4, he was at Riverbank, West Row with his uncle Garner FOREMAN [33] farm labourer; aunt Alice [26] born Littleport; cousins Alice [7] , Florrie [4]and Mary Ann [2]all born Mildenhall; his mother, widowed Mary Ann FOREMAN [31] born Chatham, Kent and sister Annie E [6] born Mildenhall

His mother married Harry HUNT in 1903

1911 census...Not found in this census. His mother, as Mrs Hunt, was at Manor Farm, Beyton on the pension card. CWGC have her at Snarehill Farm, Thetford



He enlisted in Bury St.Edmunds. and died in the Military Hospital in Colchester. No war grant and no medal index card makes it most likely he had served less than six months and had not proceeded abroad
