BRUCE, Andrew
Buried in Bury St.Edmunds

No.1367496, Corporal, Andrew BRUCE
Aged 49

Technical Training Command, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
Died in Accident on Saturday, 28th April 1945

Currently little idea as to civilian history, nor the nature of his accident

Born in 1897 (apparemtly in Morpeth but two possibilities). His address was "Tynninghame", Prestonkirk,Scotland when amrrying Doris Eugene SPARROW on 23rd August 1941 in Bury St.Edmunds, later of Grove Park, Bury St.Edmunds. His son Mark was apparently born in Morpeth in 1924 and later was in the Royal Navy as Chief Petty Officer. This indicates a previous marriage of his father which seems to be to Doris Adamson in Morpeth in 1919 but this has not been confirmed by finding the record of her marriage or death

1901 census...Aged

1911 census...Aged

He was based at RAF Innsworth Glos attached to 1 Personnel Holding Unit,Technical Training Command. He died in an accident at Bury St Edmunds, possible when on leave.
