1901 census...Aged 4, he was at 32 Tayfen Road, Bury St.Edmunds with his father Charles BULL [29] railway goods porter; his mother Emily G [31]; half brother Charles W.M.LAWRENCE [8]; half sister Jessie M LAWRENCE; brother Stanley J [4] and sister Florence M [10 months]. All were born in Bury St.Edmunds

1911 census...Aged 14, he was at 8 Klondyke, Bury St.Edmunds with his parents (now a crane worker); half sister Jessie Mabel LAWRENCE; brothers Stanley James, George Frederick [9], Joseph Henry[7] and Alfred Reginald [4]; sisters Florence May and Amy Elizabeth [3], all born in Bury St.Edmunds.


He enlisted in Bury St.Edmunds. Died in Bierut from bronchitis and pneumonia
