Born in 1920 -1st qtr Plomesgate 4a:2588 - son of Ernest Leslie and Christina Agnes CALTON (née ALDOUS) of 15 Whiting Street, Bury St.Edmunds.

In the afternoon of 23rd February 1942, 12 Me 109s attacked Malta in two formations. One group raided Ta Qali airfield, damaging the guard room, billet 15 and some MT. LAC Calton was injured and died later in hospital.
