CANHAM, Leonard Frank

No.14250339, Private, Leonard Frank CANHAM
Aged 25

Royal Army Ordnance Corps
Died on Wednesday, 20th November 1946

Born in 1921 2nd qtr Bury St.Edmunds 4a:1764, son of Frank Leonard and Florence May CANHAM (née RANSOM)

Nothing else found..there is a Bury Free Press memoriam notice from 10 Grove Park, Bury St.Edmunds but for a Jimmy Canham killed in Germany 17th November 1946 ? That was from Mum and Dad and Jack, and Leonard did have a younger brother Jack
In any event it sheds no light on the cause of Leonard's death.

Leonard was originally buried in Munster Standort Lazaret cemetery and re-interred on 9th August 1947. There is perhaps a further clue in the concentration card, the death typed as "Died" is overwritten K-ACC and his initials, typed as J L have been overwritten L F
