Born 15th February 1912 - 1st qtr 1912 Wangford 4a:2135, son of Harold Charles and Florence Annie CRACKNELL (née CASTON).
He married Isabel M CLARKE [13-5-1911] (Stow 1934). In the 1939 register they were at 189 Westgate Street, Bury St.Edmunds with his mother in law Lily CLARKE assisting in the fish shop. He was in the Army Supplementary Reserves. His widow married Charles E BROCK in 1951.





The newspaper report mentions possible drowning, and in the chaos of the Dunkirk evacuation it will never be known if he made to a boat that was later sunk.
