His mother had born 4 children but lost 2 (recorded as 3 still living ?) |

Dying of Wounds in a hospital and no service record available, it is normally impossible to say where and when exactly he was wounded, but the newspaper
cutting says 2nd September and the 15th Suffolks that day according to the Brigade war dairy were fighting just west of Moislains
