DOUBLE, Charles

No.3911, Private, Charles DOUBLE
Aged

1st Battalion, Suffolk Regiment

Died of Illness on 24th August 1902

It is not always possible to match the soldier with the civilian with these Boer War casualties.
That means I can only record "most likely to be" in many cases for the civilian identity
In this case even that has proved impossible

Apart from mother's given name being Maria, and his being a labourer, enlisting in 1894, nothing else has so far been found of his civilian identity
