John Augustine McLAREN was born in 4th qtr 1900 (Bury St.Edmunds 4a:870) son of John Tellet and Rowena Harriet MACLAREN (née CHATER)

1901 census...Aged 6 months, he was at 39 Well Street, Bury St.Edmunds with his father John T MACLAREN,[31] tailor/outfitter born Scotland; his mother Rowena H [33] born Cambridge; aunts Sophie S CHATER [34] and Olivia CHATER [27] both born Cambridge.

1911 census...Aged 10, he was still at 39 Well Street with his parents and sister Rowena Elizabeth [8]. His mother had lost one child, Sophia May [1906-1907].


No.1 School of Aeronautics was at Reading. He died in No.1 Military Hospital, Reading, from pneumonia
