All the children were born in Bury St.Edmunds 1901 census...Aged 13, he was still at 48 Victoria Street with his parents, sister Beatrice; brothers Arthur (draper's porter) and Frank A [11]; cousins Mabel [4] and Edith [5 months] 1911 census...Aged 23, a labourer, he was at 71 Queens Road, Bury St.Edmunds with his parents, sister Beatrice; brother Albert (motor fitter); cousins Mabel and Edith His father died in 1916. |

War Diary:- Support trenches..Bn proceeded to MAROC and after a halt for a few hours in billets, took over the support trenches in Loos Sub section from 2nd York and Lancs. Disposition, all 4 Coys in OGI . Battn came under the orders of G.O.C. 16th Infantry Brigade. Casualties 7 OR wounded.
