Born on 17th June 1915, 3rd qtr Bury St Edmunds 4a:1617, son of Arthur and Muriel Alice WILLIAMS(née CROSS)
In the 1939 register, a forwarding clerk, he was at 7 Linnet Road, Bury St.Edmunds with his mother and brother Domald Leslie (milkman) -(2 closed records)

He married Edith Muriel HODDY in Bury St.Edmunds in 1940. She was with her mother at 40 Long Brackland, Bury St.Edmunds on the PoW card


He was captured on 15th February 1942 at the surrender of Singapore to the Japanese. Not being able to read Japanese, nothing found to give cause of death
