David Kitchener Kinsey was born in West Row (1st qtr 1900 Mildenhall 4a:937) son of Robert and Rhoda KINSEY (née ENNALS).

1901 census...Aged 1, he was at Bagsham Road, West Row with his father Robert KINSEY [39] shepherd, born Hintlesham; his mother Rhoda [35] born Polstead; brothers Stanley [10] (born Old Newton), Robert [9] (born Ardleigh), and Walter [3] born Kirtling.

1911 census...Aged he was at Shepherd's Cottage, Nowton with his parents; brothers Stanley and Walter (both farm labourers), Edward [8] and daughter Rose [6] both born Mildenhall. I sibling had died.

His mother, on the pension card, was at Stone Hill, Knettishall, later at Prospect Villa, Boyton, nr Woodbridge

His only connection found so far with Horringer is being buried there. Father being a shepherd, the family did moved around quite frequently.


He enlisted in Ipswich. He died in the Isolation Hospital, in Northampton.
Still under training and not old enough to procede overseas. His death certificate gives the cause of death as 1.Measles, 2. Bronchitis / Broncho-pneumonia.
