In the 1939 register he was a fruit farm labourer, living at the Institute, The Street, Horringer, with his father James [23-9-1872] sawmill worker; his mother Bessie [13-5-1882]; sister Joyce [18-7-1910] house help; brother Felix J [25-6-1912] fruit farm labourer. This was his probate address.
