FORGE, Frederick

Aged 24

1st Battalion, Suffolk Regiment
Killed in Action on 4th January 1900

It is not always possible to match the soldier with the civilian with these Boer War casualties.
That means I can only record "most likely to be" in many cases for the civilian identity

Fred FORGE was born in Hundon (2nd qtr 1875 Risbridge 4a:485) son of John and Amy FORGE(née FITCH)

1881 census...Aged 5, he was at Mount Pleasant, Hundon with his father John FORGE [53] farmer; his mother Amy [40]; brothers John [7], Robert [4] and Sidney [1]. All were born in Hundon
