Phyllis Elizabeth Rogers was born in Little Saxham on 13th May 1920 (2nd qtr 1920 Bury St.Edmunds 4a:2023) daughter of Jack and Alice ROGERS (née SEELEY).

In the 1939 register she was at Ickworth House, Horringer where she was a kitchen maid for Marquis of Bristol. Her father was at 1 Park Gates, Little Saxham, mother having died in 1935


Phyllis Elizabeth Rogers as a medically discharged Airwoman, died in the West Suffolk General hospital, Bury St. Edmunds of nephritis, having been ill since at least early 1944




Phyllis Rogers is buried in Little Saxham (St Nicholas) Churchyard south of tower
