Thomas Edward Flack was born in Rede (3rd qtr 1887 Thingoe 4a:673) son of Aaron and Frances FLACK (née POTTER)
1891 census...Aged 3, he was at The Drift, Rede with his father Aaron FLACK [52] farm labourer born Horringer; his mother Frances [38] born Risby; brother William [16] farm labourer; sisters Ada [14], Maud [6] and Lily [9 months]. All the childrenn were born in Rede 1901 census...Aged 13, a farm labourer, he was at The Croft, Rede with his parents; brother Sidney [7] ; sister Lily [10] and his niece Daisy [5]. The children all born in Rede 1911 census...Aged 23, a horseman on farm, he was at The Croft, Rede with his parents and brother Sidney (farm labourer). His mother had lost one of her 6 children. On the pension card his mother was at The Croft, Rede. His brother Sidney was killed in France in 1918 see here |
