"CULFORD SCHOOL WAR MEMORIAL"
To the eternal memory of the men of CULFORD SCHOOL who died in the service of their country
61 in the Great War of 1914-1919 and 48 in 1939-1945 and 3 since 1945.
I am indebted to the Culford Foundation team and especially Jo Johnson-Munday. Her interest in the subject and endeavours to unearth school archive material has been invaluable and I am sure more will be forthcoming as the archives are digitised. Hopefully alumni will reach into their pockets to assist in the finances of this project, it costs a pound per page for this to be completed.
Incidentally any survivors of the Lower Sixth in 1955 are requested to contact email@example.com, especially if any of you can track down Alfie Dunnett
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
