  • 47 in the 1939-1945 war (World War Two) and two since 1945

It has been noted that the 1939-1945 war ended with Old Culfordians winning one D.S.O., two M.B.E., four Military Crosses, three D.S.C., seven D.F.C., one bar to the D.F.C., one A.F.C., one D.S.M., one Military Medal, sixteen Mentions in Despatches, one U.S. Air Medal and two Croix de Guerre. So far not all these have been traced, but in time will be added herein.

Frank WAYMAN for some reason is not named on the Memorial Plaque

I am enormously grateful for all the information sent to me by descendants.
